Poor Sam Philips from License! Europe magazine politely sat through a long rant of mine during a lunch last month. I was holding forth on creativity in licensing whilst she munched on her pasta con funghi. She suggested I put my thoughts into writing. That shut me up. The lovely brand team at Entertainment Rights needed the fastest update in the world. We obliged. Here's what Vicky Marks had to say, "Hi Oliver, I just wanted to say thanks for such a fantastic job on these (designs). They (the designs again) really do look great. This time we’ve done the lot.
As from this week licensees and retailers will be able to design from an abundance of creative material. The guide covers pack and marketing, apparel and accessories right through to stationery and ceramics. Look out for it at Brand and Licensing later this year.
